A Classic Rejuvenated: Chronoswiss Releases the Lunar Chronograph Aurora

Chronoswiss has unveiled the Lunar Chronograph Aurora, a modern reimagining of a classic chronograph originally introduced in the mid-1980s. This timepiece maintains its heritage with a distinctive design while incorporating contemporary elements such as a chameleon-like green dial that shifts between green and blue hues. The watch features a traditional triple-register layout for chronograph functions, a moon phase complication, and a date indicator with a unique purple crescent tip. Constructed from stainless steel, the 41mm case includes a polished and brushed finish, while the timepiece is water-resistant up to 100 meters. Powered by the calibre C.755 automatic movement, which is based on the Valjoux 7750, the Lunar Chronograph Aurora boasts a 46-hour power reserve and includes a proprietary moon phase and date module. The watch is elegantly paired with a dark grey Nubuck leather strap and is available for EUR 10,800. With its combination of classic features and modern aesthetics, the Lunar Chronograph Aurora is designed to appeal to both watch enthusiasts and those looking for a sophisticated accessory.
