A. Lange & Söhne's new Bond Street flagship merges German charm with Mayfair poise
A. Lange & Söhne has opened a new flagship boutique on London’s Old Bond Street, merging German elegance with the sophistication of Mayfair. The four-storey building features a deep slate-grey façade and a welcoming ground floor that combines elements of a traditional London club with a modern aesthetic. Inside, visitors can explore the intricacies of watchmaking, including hand-finished components from the award-winning Zeitwerk watch, with dedicated spaces showcasing complicated movements and a serene lounge on the second floor. To celebrate the opening, the brand has launched a new version of the Lange 1, known as the Daymatic, which features a unique retrograde day indication and is produced in a limited run of 250 pieces. This watch, with its warm cocoa-brown dial and distinctive Big Date display, commemorates significant historical milestones for A. Lange & Söhne, including the 180th anniversary of the Glashütte Manufacture's founding and the revival of the brand in 1990. The flagship marks the eighth global location for A. Lange & Söhne, emphasizing its commitment to craftsmanship and luxury.
