A New Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Hybris Artistica Calibre 179 Gyrotourbillon
Jaeger-LeCoultre has unveiled the Reverso Hybris Artistica Calibre 179 Gyrotourbillon, a limited edition watch featuring only ten pieces. This new model, crafted in rose gold, showcases a double-sided display with black and grey lacquers, along with a skeletonized rear dial that offers a 24-hour display. The gyrotourbillon movement, which includes 123 components, is a highlight, allowing for an intricate view of its mechanics, including a rotating inner cage and a peripheral carriage, all housed within a rectangular case designed for the Reverso. Measuring 51.2mm by 31mm and 13.63mm thick, the Hybris Artistica is slightly larger than typical Reverso models but remains comfortable on the wrist. It features a manual winding mechanism with a 40-hour power reserve and is paired with a black alligator leather strap. The watch is notable not only for its technical prowess but also for its aesthetic appeal, blending artistry with horological innovation. The new timepiece is available upon request, with pricing undisclosed, emphasizing its exclusivity.
