Amida revives its iconic 1970s Digitrend design with the new Digitrend OSII Black, a darker, fully luminous version of the Open Sapphire II Black edition. Housed in a compact 39.6 mm × 39 mm case with a solid caseback, the watch retains the distinctive wedge‑shaped profile and horizontal digital display viewed through a prism, while a black‑coated steel framework adds a more technical look. The sapphire top, machined from a single block, lets light illuminate the jumping‑hour and scrolling‑minute modules, which are now powered by BGW9 Super‑LumiNova for full visibility in darkness. The movement is driven by an in‑house module mounted on a Soprod Newton P024 automatic calibre, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering a 38‑hour power reserve. Water resistance is rated at 50 m, and the watch is offered on a black Alcantara strap with orange calfskin lining, with an optional integrated steel bracelet. Production is limited to 150 pieces, priced at CHF 5,150 on a strap and CHF 5 500 on a bracelet, excluding taxes.
