Atelier Loreti Adds Rare Stone Dials to Celestial Tourbillon Collection
Atelier Loreti expands its Celestial Tourbillon collection with two new limited‑edition models featuring natural stone dials—Snowflake Obsidian and Charoite. Both 42 mm stainless‑steel cases are exceptionally thin at 10.85 mm, water‑resistant to 100 m, and showcase a customised Miyota 8215 automatic movement that has been heavily modified to incorporate a one‑minute bridge‑supported tourbillon and a higher beat rate of 28,800 vph. The stone dials are cut directly from natural materials, ensuring each piece is unique, while the clean layout omits a date window to keep focus on the tourbillon’s rotation. The watches are equipped with a black leather strap, a 22 mm lug width, and are priced at $980 for the Snowflake Obsidian version and $1,180 for the Charoite version, with production limited to 50 pieces of each reference. They will become available on 19 November 2026 through the Atelier Loreti online boutique, offering collectors an accessible entry into high‑complication watchmaking without the typical luxury‑brand price barrier.
Buying Time Analysis: This story highlights Atelier Loreti’s breakthrough in making high‑complication tourbillon watches accessible by combining exquisite natural stone dials with a modified, affordable Miyota movement, marking a significant shift toward democratizing luxury watchmaking.
