Aubert Ramel Debuts with the Ouréa

Aubert Ramel has launched the Ouréa, a new limited edition watch, showcasing the expertise of founders Thomas Aubert and Alexis Ramel-Sartori, who have previous experience in independent watchmaking. The Ouréa features a distinctive “scraped” dial reminiscent of successful designs from their former employer, Simon Brette, while also reflecting influences from renowned brands like Greubel Forsey. With striking teal accents and high-quality craftsmanship, the watch is designed for both aesthetics and performance. The initial batch of six pieces will have platinum cases, while the remaining fourteen will be crafted in titanium. The manufacturing process is notable for its in-house production, including the movement and balance, which enhances the uniqueness of the piece. The Ouréa is housed in a 40.40 mm 18k yellow gold case, equipped with a manual winding movement that boasts a 72-hour power reserve. Priced at CHF 72,000 (approximately USD 90,000 before taxes), the watch is available directly from Aubert and Ramel, emphasizing the brand's commitment to quality and exclusivity in a saturated market.
