Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 Introduces First Perpetual Calendar Openworked
Audemars Piguet has unveiled the Code 11.59 Selfwinding Perpetual Calendar Openworked, marking a significant addition to their 2026 lineup. This model is notable for being the first openworked perpetual calendar within the Code 11.59 range, showcasing the new calibre 7139. The watch features a luxurious 41mm white gold case with skeletonized lugs and a transparent sapphire dial, allowing for a clear view of the intricate movement. It offers various functions including hours, minutes, and a perpetual calendar, all powered by a 55-hour power reserve. In addition to the new openworked model, Audemars Piguet has introduced updates to existing Code 11.59 models, including a Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon and two standard time and date editions in pink gold. The updates primarily involve aesthetic changes, with new color options for the dials. The Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon features a bi-color structure with a black ceramic case middle and an ivory-toned guilloché dial, while the 38mm versions are available with black or silver dials. Pricing for the Selfwinding models starts at approximately £29,700, making them relatively accessible for luxury timepieces.
