Beaubleu Collaborates with Monnaie de Paris to Launch Limited Edition La Pièce 1 & 2 Watches
Beaubleu, an independent French watch brand, has collaborated with the Monnaie de Paris to introduce two new limited edition watches, La Pièce no. 1 and La Pièce no. 2. Both models feature a round 39mm steel case and a unique design with hollowed flanks and a hidden crown. The dials, created using traditional minting techniques, showcase textured surfaces and intricate bas-relief details. La Pièce no. 1 is characterized by its concave stepped dial with a floating seconds hand, while La Pièce no. 2 offers a more elaborate design with polished hour markers machined directly from the dial material. Each watch is powered by an automatic movement made by France Ebauches, assembled in the French watchmaking region, and is available with interchangeable metal mesh bracelets or leather straps. Limited to 888 pieces per colorway, the La Pièce no. 1 is available for EUR 1,790 on a leather strap and EUR 1,890 on a mesh bracelet. The combination of innovative design, high-quality craftsmanship, and limited availability positions these pieces as desirable additions for watch enthusiasts.
Buying Time Analysis: This collaboration between Beaubleu and the Monnaie de Paris not only highlights the fusion of artisanal craftsmanship and innovative design in the luxury watch market, but also emphasizes the significance of limited editions in creating exclusivity and desirability among collectors and enthusiasts, making these timepieces both a functional accessory and a valuable investment.
