Bovet Recital 31: An Intuitive Perpetual Calendar

The Bovet Recital 31 is a new perpetual calendar watch that combines sophisticated complications with a modern, approachable design. Housed in a 44 mm Dimier case available in grade‑5 titanium or 18 k red gold, it features a clear, legible dial with labeled corrector pushers for date, day, month and moon phase, making adjustments straightforward. The watch offers a five‑day power reserve, a 21 600 vph frequency, and a movement of 469 components with 39 jewels, all finished with the brand’s distinctive “square stars” engraving that requires over 15 hours of work. Each of the three colour options—blue, red, and black—is limited to 60 numbered pieces per material, and the model comes with a matching rubber strap, though an alligator leather strap is also available. Prices are CHF 102 000 for the titanium version and CHF 122 000 for the 18 k red‑gold version, with water resistance of 30 m and a user‑friendly setting window between 9 pm and 4 am for the calendar and 4 am to 8 am for the moon phase.

Buying Time Analysis: The Bovet Récital 31 introduces a highly usable perpetual calendar with a new in‑house movement and limited‑edition availability, marking a significant advancement in watchmaking complexity and user‑friendly design.
