Breitling makes a blue and black Superocean Heritage for Bucherer
Breitling has unveiled a special blue and black version of its Superocean Heritage for Bucherer, marking a return to exclusive pieces for the retailer now owned by Rolex. While many brands previously created unique blue editions for Bucherer, this trend seems to have diminished since the acquisition, raising questions about the strategy behind such collaborations. However, with over 100 showrooms globally, partnering with Bucherer remains appealing to several luxury watchmakers. The new Breitling Superocean Heritage B31 Automatic 42 features a deep blue dial with a black ceramic bezel, a combination not available in the core collection, which offers either blue or black dials with matching bezels. Housed in a 42mm slim steel case, it utilizes Breitling's Caliber B31 automatic movement, visible through an exhibition case back, and is priced at $6,500, consistent with the standard offerings.
