Breitling plans private members' clubs in New York and Miami
Breitling is expanding its brand beyond watchmaking into exclusive hospitality with plans to open its first private members’ club in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, slated for late 2027. The club, known as the Breitling Social Club or B Social New York, will feature restaurants, bars, a rooftop lounge, live‑music venues, co‑working spaces and entertainment areas within an industrial loft setting. Developed in partnership with VCR Group, the project links club membership to the purchase of limited‑edition watches, such as the Navitimer B09 Chronograph 41 Tribute to Miles Davis and special Chronomat models for Aston Martin Valhalla owners. In Miami, Breitling intends to launch a branded residential tower called B Residences, a 70‑storey development with over 300 condominiums and a second 45,000‑square‑foot private club. Partners Group will invest roughly $220 million, with construction expected to begin in late 2028 and the residences opening in 2031. The initiative reflects a broader strategy to enhance brand equity by creating lifestyle experiences that combine luxury living, hospitality and the brand’s heritage of Swiss precision.
Buying Time Analysis: The story is important because it marks Breitling’s strategic expansion from watchmaking into luxury hospitality and branded residences, showcasing a major diversification of the brand with significant investments and new revenue streams in New York and Miami.
