Bremont Launches the Supernova Chronograph: The First British Watch Set for the Moon

Bremont has introduced the Supernova Chronograph, a new collection that aims to make history as the first British watch to reach the Moon. Under the leadership of Davide Cerrato, Bremont is transitioning from a British aviation niche to a global luxury tool-watch brand, partnering with U.S. aerospace firm Astrolab to ensure rigorous NASA-protocol testing for the Supernova before its lunar mission. The watch is set to accompany the FLIP rover during Astrobotic’s Griffin Mission One, scheduled to land at the lunar south pole in summer 2026, coinciding with the establishment of a Coordinated Lunar Time. The Supernova Chronograph features a futuristic design inspired by spacecraft geometry, with a 41mm case crafted from 914L stainless steel and a distinctive decagonal black ceramic bezel. It boasts a three-dimensional dial with a unique grid pattern, illuminated by Super-LumiNova, and is powered by the chronometer-rated BC77 automatic movement. Available with either an integrated stainless steel bracelet or a rubber strap, the Supernova is priced at GBP 7,200 and GBP 6,950, respectively. This timepiece embodies Bremont's commitment to durability and precision, reinforcing its identity as a luxury watchmaker capable of exploring new frontiers.

Buying Time Analysis: The release of the Bremont Supernova Chronograph marks a significant milestone as it becomes the first British watch set to land on the Moon, showcasing Bremont's commitment to innovation and reinforcing its brand identity as a global luxury tool-watch maker through rigorous NASA-protocol testing and advanced engineering.
