British Watchmaker James Lamb Introduces The Linea Edition — A Joint Effort Between Artisans
British watchmaker James Lamb has unveiled the limited edition Linea Edition, showcasing a collaborative effort with engraver Joanne Ryall and enameler Andy Roberts. This series features handmade silver cases, hand-engraved titanium dials with 18K gold details, and intricate designs inspired by nature and geometry. The watches are crafted from 960 Argentium silver, known for its tarnish resistance and durability, and include a high-grade Sellita SW210 hand-wound movement. Each piece is a testament to the artisanship involved, with meticulous attention to detail in both the case and the dials. The Linea Edition is available in three distinct versions: Mitsuba, Altair, and Regent, each reflecting unique artistic motifs and cultural influences. These designs incorporate stunning gold inlays and frosted ceramic sub-dials, creating a striking contrast with the titanium. Limited to the production capacity of the artisans, each watch is priced at €22,000, representing a significant investment in handcrafted luxury. The combination of traditional techniques and contemporary materials makes the Linea Edition a remarkable addition to the world of fine watchmaking.
