Bulgari Explores the Poetry of Light with the Lucea Notte di Luce
Bulgari has unveiled the Lucea Notte di Luce, a limited edition watch that marries Japanese craftsmanship with Roman design, emphasizing the theme of luminosity. Collaborating with Urushi master Yasuhiro Asai, the watch features a dial meticulously crafted in Kyoto using ancient lacquer techniques and Raden mother-of-pearl inlay. Over sixty days, layers of black lacquer are applied and polished, resulting in a shimmering effect that captures light beautifully, reminiscent of reflections on water. The watch boasts a 33mm case available in steel and rose gold, embellished with a diamond-set bezel and a pink synthetic sapphire cabochon. With only 80 pieces available per variant, the Lucea Notte di Luce is powered by an automatic movement with a 48-hour power reserve and is priced at CHF21,200, approximately $26,330. This exquisite creation showcases Bulgari's commitment to artistry and innovation in the luxury watch market.
