Chinese Indie Watchmaker Qian GuoBiao Launches a Split-Seconds Chronograph
Qian GuoBiao, an independent watchmaker from China, has unveiled the Split-Seconds Chronograph, a limited edition timepiece with only five pieces available. The watch features a robust 40mm stainless steel case that is water-resistant up to 50 meters and showcases a deep purple dial. Its innovative design includes inverted pump pushers and an open aperture that allows wearers to observe the split-seconds mechanism in action. The watch is powered by the modified calibre AB-04, which is based on the ETA 7750 movement, and offers a 42-hour power reserve. Each piece of the Split-Seconds Chronograph is hand-assembled and meticulously tested, with an estimated delivery time of 12 months from order. Priced at CHF 29,000 excluding taxes, the watch comes with a custom calf leather strap made by JeaYou. The unique combination of style, functionality, and craftsmanship makes this timepiece a significant addition to the world of indie horology.
