Chopard's UK Watch and Jewelry Sales Decline
Chopard’s UK operation experienced a 7% decline in sales, with revenue falling from £27.1 million in 2024 to £25.2 million in 2025. The downturn was accompanied by an increase in operating losses, rising from approximately £70 k to £199 k, while net assets stayed flat at £4.4 million. Watches continue to dominate the brand’s turnover, contributing about 60% of sales, with jewellery accounting for the remaining 40%, as noted by co‑president Karl‑Friedrich Scheufele. The company now runs 135 boutiques worldwide, down from around 155 in 2023, and serves 615 wholesale partners. In Britain, Chopard maintains three flagship London boutiques and 26 authorized dealer sites across the UK and Ireland. Recent strategic moves, such as the launch of the Alpine Eagle collection and strong ties to the Cannes Film Festival, aim to sustain its position in the luxury market, which is projected to approach €1 billion in annual sales.
