Circula Unveils the ProSea: A Modern Dive Watch Inspired by the Manta Ray
Circula has introduced the ProSea, a new dive watch inspired by the manta ray, as part of its tool watch collection. Designed by renowned watchmaker Guy Bove, the ProSea combines a distinctive textured surface reminiscent of the manta ray's skin with a focus on readability and durability. The watch features a 40 mm case made from hardened 316L stainless steel, a scratch-resistant ceramic bezel, and is water-resistant up to 200 meters, making it suitable for serious diving. It is powered by the Swiss-made Sellita SW200-1a automatic movement, ensuring reliable performance with a 41-hour power reserve. The ProSea is available in three colorways—blue, petrol, and anthracite—and comes with a durable hybrid rubber strap, with an option for a scratch-resistant steel bracelet. Priced at $1,090 with the rubber strap or $1,290 with both straps included, the ProSea offers a blend of functionality and aesthetic appeal, catering to both diving enthusiasts and watch collectors alike. The watch is a celebration of Circula's 70th anniversary, reflecting the brand's commitment to quality and innovation in the watchmaking industry.
