Design is key in TAG Heuer’s latest watch releases

TAG Heuer has been active towards the end of 2025, unveiling new watches at significant events such as Dubai Watch Week and Art Basel Miami. The brand showcased its LAB concept in Dubai, introducing high-tech versions of the Monaco watch, including a chronograph with vibrant Super-LumiNova treatments and an iridescent layer on the sapphire crystal. The Miami launch featured a collaboration with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s studio Fragment, emphasizing a design approach that enhances distinctive elements rather than starting from scratch. This collaboration resulted in a Carrera chronograph inspired by a unique tachymeter version from the 1960s. The latest collaboration with Fragment showcases TAG Heuer’s modern interpretation of the Carrera design, first seen in 2023. Fujiwara focused on maintaining the watch's balance while enhancing its details, leading to a striking contrast between a curved white flange and a black-on-black dial. The design replaces traditional hour markers with subtle luminous dots, and the Fragment logo is prominently featured on the date wheel. This minimalist approach emphasizes elegance and intentional design, reinforcing the watch's narrative and aesthetic appeal.
