Dryden Watch Company has launched the second generation of its Chrono Diver collection, showcasing a design that pays homage to 1970s aesthetics while incorporating modern functionality. The new models maintain the same 42mm case size as their predecessors but feature updated designs that include tapered five-link bracelets, recessed pushers, and a sleeker silhouette reminiscent of vintage skin divers. Available in three muted colorways—Black Vintage, PVD Vintage, and Blue Panda—the watches are designed to appeal to those seeking a vintage look without compromising on contemporary reliability. Functionally, the Gen 2 Chrono Divers are equipped with a screw-down crown, double-dome sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, and a unidirectional bezel, ensuring water resistance up to 100 meters. Powered by the Seiko VK63 Mecha-Quartz movement, these watches promise a battery life of three years. Retailing for $450 for the Blue Panda and Black Vintage models, and $475 for the PVD Vintage edition, the collection combines nostalgic design elements with modern performance, offering a practical option for watch enthusiasts who appreciate vintage style.
