Francis Ford Coppola’s F.P. Journe FFC Prototype appears at auction with bids starting at $1 million
Francis Ford Coppola’s unique F.P. Journe FFC Prototype watch will be auctioned in New York on December 6-7, 2025, with bids starting at $1 million. This timepiece, designed through a collaboration between Coppola and watchmaker François-Paul Journe, features a human hand to indicate time and is considered one of the most significant F.P. Journe creations. The prototype, which took nearly a decade to develop, is made from steel bridges and includes a rotating white minutes ring with a black-treated titanium hand. Alongside this watch, Coppola will also sell several other pieces from his collection, including notable brands like Patek Philippe and IWC, with estimates ranging from $3,000 to $4.5 million.
