Fresh mini G-Shock rings arrive just in time for Christmas
The new miniature Casio G-Shock rings, scaled to one-tenth of the original DW-5600, have arrived just in time for Christmas, generating significant excitement among fans. Designed to be worn as rings, these functional accessories feature the same timekeeping capabilities, including hours, minutes, seconds, dual time, stopwatch, and auto calendar, all displayed on a subtly backlit LCD screen. Available in black, yellow, or red bio-based resin cases, they also come with properly-buckled straps and are fully water-resistant. Due to high demand, sales are limited to one per customer, and they are already being resold on the secondary market at prices ranging from $130 to $190. These watch rings are not a new concept, as previous limited releases, such as the gold and silver models during the brand’s 50th anniversary, have seen similar popularity. The miniature watches maintain impressive details and functionality, appealing to both collectors and casual buyers. Other brands like Fossil and Timex have also entered the market with their own versions of fashionable timepiece rings, reflecting a growing trend in wearable accessories that combine style and practicality.
