The new Glashütte Original 70s Collection reimagines the brand’s iconic 1970s designs with a slimmer, more contemporary case and updated movement. Measuring 39 mm square and only 9.6 mm thick, the watch features a satin‑finished stainless steel case, sapphire crystal back, and a water resistance of 100 m. Three variants—Vinyl Record, Tweed Amp, and Stereo Panel—draw inspiration from analog music equipment, each showcasing distinctive dial textures and solid‑gold hands. The collection replaces the historic Panorama Date with a conventional date window and is powered by the modern Manufacture Calibre 36, offering a 100‑hour power reserve and 28,800 vibrations per hour. The strap system introduces Glashütte Original’s patented Groove Lock, allowing easy swapping of rubber straps or a steel bracelet with fine adjustment. Pricing starts at EUR 13,100 / USD 13,200 for the Tweed Amp and Stereo Panel on rubber straps, while the limited‑edition Vinyl Record is capped at 500 pieces and priced at EUR 16,200 / USD 16,300, both including the steel bracelet and a black rubber strap.
