Glashütte Original introduces the Senator Aventurine collection, featuring two time‑only models housed in 18‑karat red‑gold or platinum cases with 40 mm diameters. The watches showcase unique aventurine glass dials—green for the red‑gold version and blue for the platinum version—paired with curved pear‑shaped hands in matching precious metals. Stripped of complications, the models display only hours and minutes, while a specially developed calibre 36‑16 provides a 100‑hour power reserve, silicon hairspring, and a solid‑gold‑weighted rotor. The pieces are finished with polished and brushed surfaces, domed sapphire crystals, and 50 m water resistance, and they arrive on brown or blue alligator straps with matching pin buckles. The collection draws inspiration from Art Nouveau’s organic forms and Art Deco’s sleek lines, emphasizing minimalist dial design without indices or additional functions. As part of Glashütte Original’s permanent lineup, the Senator Aventurine watches become available from October 2026 through the brand’s boutiques and selected retailers worldwide, with pricing yet to be announced.
