Grand Seiko Brings Shibuya to Singapore

Grand Seiko is hosting the Tokyo Time exhibition at its flagship boutique in Marina Bay Sands from January 16 to 29, 2026. This event aims to immerse visitors in the vibrancy of Tokyo, showcasing how its diverse districts experience time. Ms. Ida Idris-Low, Managing Director of Grand Seiko APAC, emphasizes Tokyo's complexity, with eight distinct areas each possessing unique cultures and rhythms. The exhibition features eight Grand Seiko watches, each photographed in situ by New Zealand-based photographer Gregory Harris, linking them to various Tokyo locations, such as the SLGC001 Tentagraph in Toyosu and the SLGB003 U.F.A. Ice Forest in Ginza. The exhibition is free and welcomes public attendance without registration. It aims to highlight the connection between the watches and their respective Tokyo neighborhoods, capturing the essence of locations like Shibuya, known for its youth culture, and Kagurazaka, a hub of French influence with historical roots.
