Hanhart has launched the 417 TI Desert Pilot Limited Edition, marking its first chronograph made from Grade 5 titanium. This model features a hand-wound flyback movement and combines traditional pilot-watch aesthetics with modern technical enhancements. Available in two case sizes, 39mm and 42mm, the watch boasts a matte finish that emphasizes its instrument-like character and a fluted, bi-directional rotating titanium bezel with a signature red marker at 12 o'clock. The sand-colored dial, inspired by the Hanhart Primus Desert Pilot, includes Superluminova-coated numerals and hands for visibility in low-light conditions, all protected by a domed sapphire crystal. Powered by a Sellita AMT5100 movement, the 417 TI operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of at least 58 hours. Its design incorporates a proprietary shock-protection system to enhance durability under rigorous conditions. The watch is completed with a structured rubber strap and a Grade 5 titanium pin buckle, priced at $4,517 including VAT.
