Happenings: Lewis Heath To Lecture At The Horological Society Of New York
Lewis Heath, the Founder and Designer of anOrdain, will present a lecture on grand feu enamel at the Horological Society of New York on November 3, 2025. This ancient technique of enameling, which fuses powdered glass to metal through intense heat, is central to watchmaking's decorative arts. Heath will share his passion for enamel, discussing its production methods and his journey from a coin that sparked his interest to establishing a watchmaking factory in Scotland. The event will take place at the General Society Library in Midtown Manhattan, with free tickets available for attendees. Doors open at 5:30 PM, and the lecture begins at 6 PM.
