High-Frequency Heritage Revived in the Longines Ultra-Chron Classic
Longines has revived its Ultra-Chron line with the introduction of the Ultra-Chron Classic, which features a high-frequency automatic movement and a vintage design enhanced for modern precision and durability. Originally launched in 1967, the Ultra-Chron line is known for its pioneering high-beat precision, highlighted by the new Caliber L836.6 that operates at 36,000 vibrations per hour and boasts a chronometer certification from the Observatoire Chronométrique de Genève. The watch retains classic design elements such as a curved silver dial and vintage logo while incorporating modern features like a trapezoidal date window. Available in 37mm and 40mm stainless-steel cases, the Ultra-Chron Classic is offered either with a bracelet for $4,000 or a black leather strap for $3,900.
