How Belvans is reviving the spirit of French watchmaking
Belvans is a new French watch brand that aims to revive the essence of French watchmaking, which has often been overshadowed by its Swiss counterparts. Founded by three Parisian enthusiasts in 2023, the brand has its roots in the Publicis store on the Champs-Élysées, where one of the founders gained insights into technical precision and artistry. Belvans has established its workshop in Franche-Comté and recently returned to the Champs-Élysées, symbolizing its growth and innovation. The Heritage Collection features a unique Eiffel Tower-shaped second hand and a striking ultra-black Musou dial, making it a chic dress watch that reflects Parisian elegance. The Heritage Collection distinguishes itself not only with its aesthetic appeal but also with its technical prowess. Crafted from stainless steel with a titanium inner layer and PVD coating, the watch ensures long-term precision while maintaining a sleek profile. Powered by an adjusted Miyota 8315 movement, Belvans offers enhanced accuracy and a 60-hour power reserve. The craftsmanship is evident in features like the guilloché finish on the oscillating weight, reflecting early 20th-century French horology. With various finishes and a complimentary engraving service, Belvans invites a new generation of watch enthusiasts to personalize their timepieces while celebrating the artistry of French watchmaking.
