Indies Pöhlmann-Bresan Team up with Jochen Benzinger For a Superb Unique Piece
Pöhlmann-Bresan, a duo of German watchmakers, has collaborated with renowned guillocheur Jochen Benzinger to create a unique timepiece that enhances their previous model, the Prestige. This exceptional watch features a stainless steel case with a hand-guilloché 18k white-gold bezel, offering a refined aesthetic. The dial showcases a fine silver base with a deep cobalt blue center and an outer ring of freshwater mother-of-pearl, adorned with polished Breguet-style Arabic numerals. The watch is powered by an in-house manual-winding movement, the JU26-01, known for its intricate craftsmanship and a 39-hour power reserve. This one-of-a-kind piece, co-designed with a US-based collector, is complemented by a hand-stitched black calfskin strap. Each component, from the black-polished screws to the frosted bridges, is meticulously finished by hand, reflecting a commitment to traditional craftsmanship. The watch is already allocated as a limited edition, showcasing the blend of modern design and classic horological techniques that defines Pöhlmann-Bresan's approach to independent watchmaking.
