Benrus Brings Back the Ultra-Deep as a Compact, Vintage-Inspired Compressor-Style Dive Watch
Benrus has reintroduced the Ultra-Deep, a compact, vintage-inspired dive watch that pays homage to its roots in dependable field and dive timepieces. Originally launched in the 1960s, the Ultra-Deep features a compressor-style design with a 36.5mm stainless steel case, two screw-down crowns, and a double-domed acrylic crystal. With a water resistance of 200 meters, it also includes an internal rotating dive bezel and a matte-black dial with Super-LumiNova details for visibility. The watch is powered by the Soprod P024 automatic movement and comes with a Jubilee-style bracelet as well as a nylon NATO strap. The modern Ultra-Deep blends historical aesthetics with contemporary functionality, making it accessible at a price of USD 1,195 or CHF 1,105. Its thoughtful design details, including the cathedral hands and quick-set date feature, cater to both dive enthusiasts and casual wearers alike.
