The Atelier Wen x Revolution Ancestra Yao is a limited-edition watch that combines Chinese craftsmanship with Middle Eastern aesthetics, set to debut at Dubai Watch Week 2025. This timepiece features a 38mm 904L stainless steel case that reflects the sculptural design of its predecessor, complete with a double-domed sapphire crystal and a water resistance of 100m. The dial incorporates a hand-worked silver gratté base with a unique engraving technique and layers of translucent grand feu enamel, creating a color gradient that evokes desert landscapes. Hour markers include Eastern Arabic numerals and lab-grown diamonds, while the watch is powered by a customized Pequignet automatic movement. Orders for the Ancestra Yao will be accepted from November 18 to November 27, 2025, with each watch built to order and scheduled for delivery in late 2026. The watch comes with a hand-stitched full-grain leather strap and has a price tag of EUR 5,100. This collaboration celebrates the 20th anniversary of Revolution magazine and emphasizes the merging of Eastern cultures through luxury watchmaking.
