Introducing: The Universal Genève Tribute to Compax – Inspired By Nina Rindt And Powered By Vintage Movements
Universal Genève has introduced the Tribute to Compax, a limited edition watch inspired by Nina Rindt and powered by vintage movements. Celebrating the brand's heritage, this release features six new chronographs, each reflecting the iconic design of the 1960s Compax worn by Rindt. The watches are crafted with 18k white or rose gold cases, showcasing intricate enamel dials that offer a modern twist on traditional aesthetics. Each watch measures 36mm in diameter and includes a unique bund strap made by renowned leatherworker Satoru Hosai, enhancing both style and comfort. The Tribute to Compax is powered by a restored Universal caliber 281 movement, which offers a 36-hour power reserve and a manual winding mechanism. With a price of CHF 135,000, proceeds from sales will support apprenticeships at the Geneva Watchmaking School, reflecting the brand's commitment to nurturing the next generation of watchmakers. Only two sets of these exquisite timepieces will be available upon request, making them a highly sought-after addition for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
