Isotope Introduces Moonshot Chronograph Thunderclap with Telemeter

The Isotope Moonshot Chronograph Thunderclap, a limited edition of only 30 pieces, has been introduced as a vibrant reinterpretation of Isotope's signature chronograph. Notably, it features a telemeter scale for the first time, allowing users to calculate distances based on the time delay between seeing and hearing an event, such as lightning and thunder. Designed in collaboration with watch designer Matt Smith-Johnson, the watch showcases a 41mm sandblasted titanium case, a grey embossed dimple dial, and striking purple accents. Offered with a choice of movements, either the ETA Valjoux 7753 or the Swiss Landeron 73, both operating at a frequency of 4 Hz with a 44-hour power reserve, the watch is priced at £2,400 with a rubber strap or £2,720 with a titanium bracelet. Additionally, it has a water resistance of 100 meters, making it both functional and stylish. The unique design and features cater to those looking for a modern timepiece that emphasizes both aesthetics and practicality.
