Jaeger-LeCoultre is selling Reverso watches from the 1930s
Jaeger-LeCoultre is offering a selection of vintage Reverso watches from the 1930s through its initiative called ‘The Collectibles.’ This program emphasizes the meticulous curation and minimal intervention in the restoration of vintage pieces to ensure they maintain their originality and integrity. The fifth capsule collection, currently showcased in New York City, features eight Reverso watches, all representative of the brand's rich heritage and craftsmanship. Matthieu Sauret, the Head of Product & Heritage, explains that the aim is to educate collectors about Jaeger-LeCoultre's history while providing museum-grade pieces that are both functional and authentic. Among the standout pieces in this collection is the original Reverso from 1931, celebrated for its exceptional condition and classic design. Other notable watches include a two-tone 9k gold Reverso from 1936 and various models designed for women, each showcasing unique characteristics such as aged dials and distinctive straps. The collection reflects the Art Deco spirit of the Reverso, aligning with New York City's iconic architectural heritage. These vintage pieces are available for purchase at Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Madison Avenue boutique until February 23, 2026, offering collectors a rare opportunity to acquire historical timepieces.
