Kurono Launches Its First Diver Watch: A Two-in-One Design with Sealed Outer Case

Kurono Tokyo has introduced its first dive watch, the Kurono Diver, which reimagines traditional diving watch design. This timepiece features a cushion shape and offers 50 meters of water resistance, but it also comes with a specialized diving case allowing it to transition into a functional diving instrument. Measuring 35mm and designed for a compact fit, the watch uses a Miyota automatic movement. The unique feature of this model is its ability to eliminate the need for a crown, addressing common issues faced by diving watches. The outer diving case is made of polished steel and can withstand depths of up to 300 meters when sealed with a tool provided by Kurono. It has a 60-minute unidirectional rotating bezel and can be used for lighter activities at a depth of 100 meters without the tool. This limited production model is priced at USD 2,700 and will be available through a ballot system prioritizing customers with diving certifications. Deliveries are expected to start in May 2026.
