Lebond Attraction - hommage to Antoni Gaudi
The Lebond Attraction is a new watch that pays homage to the renowned architect Antoni Gaudí, specifically inspired by his unbuilt project, the Hotel Attraction. Retailing at EUR 2400, with an exhibition case available for an additional EUR 1,600, the watch features a unique design that reflects Gaudí's architectural vision. Crafted from sandblasted Grade 5 titanium, it weighs only 33 grams and showcases a dynamic dial that captures the essence of the hotel’s top view. The timepiece is powered by a Swiss ETA 2892-A2 movement visible through a sapphire case back, imprinted with a representation of the hotel. In addition to the watch, a handcrafted wooden exhibition case has been created to display the timepiece. Standing 42 cm tall and made from solid sapele wood, this sculpture mirrors the proportions and geometry of Gaudí's design, emphasizing the intricate curves characteristic of his work. With its elegant yet practical features, the Lebond Attraction not only serves as a functional watch but also as a tribute to the artistic legacy of Antoni Gaudí, coinciding with the centenary of his passing and Barcelona's designation as the UNESCO-UIA World Capital of Architecture in 2026.
