Louis Erard Introduces the 2340 Collection
Louis Erard has launched the 2340 collection, an elegant sports watch line characterized by its integrated bracelet and unique cushion-shaped case. This new collection showcases the brand's craftsmanship through the combination of brushed titanium and polished stainless steel, offering a versatile and modern design. The name "2340" pays homage to the postal code of Le Noirmont, the Swiss town where the brand originated. The collection features three variants, each with distinct dials—a mint dial with a subtle "pill" pattern, and blue and slate dials that highlight a horizontal pattern reflecting the bracelet’s structure, all powered by the self-winding Sellita SW300-1 caliber. The watches measure 40mm in diameter and are water-resistant up to 50 meters, ensuring practicality alongside style. Rhodium-plated hands with Super-LumiNova C1 enhance visibility in various lighting conditions. The 2340 collection is priced at CHF2,900 (approximately $3,650) and includes a sapphire crystal case back that reveals the movement, making it a noteworthy addition to Louis Erard's portfolio, which has previously been known for its regulator dials and artistic collaborations.
