The Czech independent watchmaker Robot launches the Legends LE Josef Mašín, a limited edition piece that commemorates the resistance fighter Josef Mašín. The 44 mm stainless‑steel case houses a manually wound Robot F1S0 caliber with an eight‑day power reserve, and its dial incorporates symbols of Mašín’s life, including his signature, references to the Iron Curtain, and the route taken from Poděbrady to Berlin in 1953. The watch is finished with a ceramic bezel, sapphire crystal, luminescent hour markers, and a hand‑stitched leather strap, and it offers 100 m water resistance. Only 32 pieces are produced worldwide, each priced at $6,730 including VAT. The presentation includes a signed Josef Mašín card, a leather travel case, and a sapphire case back engraved with the phrase “ZATÍM DOBRÝ.” This model inaugurates Robot’s new Legends collection, which aims to honor notable Czech personalities and stories through high‑quality, historically inspired timepieces.
