Meet the Vacheron Constantin Métiers d’Art Tribute to the Quest of Time
Vacheron Constantin unveils the Métiers d’Art Tribute to the Quest of Time, a remarkable limited edition watch comprising only 20 pieces. This timepiece is inspired by the historic pocket watch Bras en l’air from 1939 and transforms the act of telling time into a captivating performance with a sculpted figure that raises its arms to indicate hours and minutes. The watch features a hand-engraved sphere that displays the moon phase and age with impressive accuracy, needing correction only once every 122 years. The new manual-winding Caliber 3670 offers a 144-hour power reserve and operates at a high frequency of 5 hertz. Housed in a 43-mm white gold case, the watch reflects the highest standards of craftsmanship synonymous with Vacheron Constantin since its inception in 1755. The intricate movement, consisting of 512 components, is visible through a sapphire-crystal dial depicting a star map from 1755, while the case back showcases sidereal time and the movement of constellations in real time. The design culminates in a sophisticated look paired with a blue alligator leather strap, making it not just a timepiece but a work of art that embodies the essence of timekeeping.
