Mermont Makes Its Debut With The La Parfaite
Mermont has made its debut in the independent watchmaking scene with the launch of the La Parfaite, a limited edition watch with only 28 pieces available. Designed by Sebastian Bey-Haut and crafted with the expertise of Nicolas Delaloye, La Parfaite features a unique single hand that elegantly glides over a serene, deep-blue dial, emphasizing a more relaxed interpretation of time. The case, made from platinum, is characterized by refined details such as modernized cowhorn lugs and a concave bezel, showcasing both brushed and polished finishes. The watch's standout feature is its intricately designed time hand, which is sculpted in three dimensions and includes a heart-shaped opening. It houses the top-grade La Joux-Perret D101 movement, known for its high finishing standards and a 50-hour power reserve. La Parfaite is presented on a black textile strap and comes in a luxurious Chronosphere box, with a price tag of CHF 10,998 excluding VAT. Production is limited to 28 pieces, with the watch being sold directly to collectors in biannual batches.
