Mermont’s La Parfaite Goes Platinum

Mermont has launched its debut watch, the La Parfaite, which is notable for being a limited edition of just 28 pieces and one of the most affordable platinum watches available. Assembled by respected watchmaker Nicolas Delaloye, the La Parfaite features a 38 mm platinum case, a snailed dial with blue lacquer, and a single hour hand that showcases a design reminiscent of Breguet watches. Priced at CHF10,998 before taxes, it stands out in the market for its blend of quality craftsmanship and contemporary design, making it an attractive option for watch enthusiasts. The watch is powered by the La Joux-Perret D101 movement, which has been individually adjusted for precision. It includes a tantalum case back and is water-resistant up to 30 meters. With a power reserve of 50 hours and a hand-wound mechanism, the La Parfaite balances elegance and functionality. The intricate case design, reinforced by platinum and unique features like the secured strap with screwed bars, reflects the brand's commitment to quality without cutting corners, making this piece a compelling addition to the world of luxury timepieces.
