Minase Introduces Handcrafted Yusai Dials For Its 5 Windows Mid, 7 Windows, And Divido Watches
Minase has unveiled a collection of handcrafted Yusai dials for its 5 Windows Mid, 7 Windows, and Divido watches, created by Tokyo-based artist Towa Takaya. Takaya's dials are designed to reflect the essence of nature, utilizing pigments made from natural materials she collects during her travels. Each dial showcases a dynamic interplay of colors that shift with light, embodying the concepts of time and nature. The collaboration aims to bridge art and horology, with each watch featuring unique designs inspired by Japanese gardens and the beauty of the natural world. The 5 Windows Mid features a dial reminiscent of serene Japanese gardens with its blue-green pigments, while the 7 Windows model evokes a sense of weightlessness with deep blue tones. The Divido watch presents a mother-of-pearl base enhanced by layered pigments, resembling a nebula. These limited edition timepieces are available exclusively through Minase’s online shop and are made to order, with a production time of approximately three months. Prices vary depending on the model and strap type, reflecting the bespoke nature of these artistic watches.
