Oak & Oscar Introduces the Humboldt ExP-02, Showing Off their In-House Dial Making Capabilities
Oak & Oscar has unveiled the Humboldt ExP-02, a limited edition watch showcasing the brand's in-house dial-making capabilities. This model, part of their classic adventure watch lineup, features an intricately designed dial that maintains the brand's signature sandwich style while elevating the craftsmanship to a new level. The dial is manufactured using advanced equipment, allowing for precise aluminum cuts and a unique "ghost script" marking that changes visibility depending on the light. The stainless steel bezel is also crafted in-house, with a precision that ensures a perfect fit. Measuring 39.5mm in diameter, the Humboldt ExP-02 operates on a Sellita SW300 automatic movement and offers a water resistance of up to 200 meters. With only 20 pieces available, the watch is priced at $2,550, and 10 units will be reserved for current owners, while the remaining will be available through a lottery system. This ambitious release demonstrates Oak & Oscar's dedication to blending traditional watchmaking with modern technology, highlighting their commitment to craft and innovation in the microbrand space.
