Omega offers virtual bobsleigh ride at Winter Olympics
Omega has inaugurated a pavilion in Milan during the Winter Olympics, providing an interactive experience that highlights the watchmaker’s long-standing relationship with the Games. Open to the public, the pavilion showcases Omega's role as the Official Timekeeper through various exhibitions that include historic images, technology displays, and athlete overviews. Visitors can engage with the cutting-edge technology that ensures precise timekeeping in both the Summer and Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. For those seeking excitement, the pavilion features a virtual reality bobsleigh ride that simulates the experience of racing down an ice tunnel at speeds of up to 90 mph, complete with accurate timing. Additionally, attendees can capture a moment as if they are performing a freestyle skiing jump through AI-enhanced photography. The pavilion operates daily from 10 AM to 10 PM during the Olympic and Paralympic Games, offering free admission from February 6 to 22 and again from March 6 to 15.
