Micro Praha, a regional watch fair in Prague, celebrated its third year, showcasing its commitment to highlighting micro brands in the watch industry. Co-founded by watch enthusiasts Bhanu Chopra and Ondrej Vislocky, the event aims to bring together diverse brands from around the globe, reflecting the growing popularity of independent watchmakers. This year, 82 brands from 24 countries participated, demonstrating the fair's expanding reach beyond mainstream offerings. The event follows the principles of accessibility and community, with free entrance for visitors and an open format that encourages interaction between brands and attendees. In just three years, the number of brands and visitors has nearly doubled, with this year attracting 3,200 attendees, including media and retailers from Central Europe, the Nordic countries, and the U.S. Micro Praha has emerged as a significant player in the watch fair circuit, fostering a vibrant micro indie scene in Central Europe.
