Piaget has recently reopened its flagship store on Place Vendôme in Paris, significantly doubling its size and introducing a new aesthetic that will be implemented across its global boutiques. This move comes as Piaget aims to compete more effectively with Cartier, which has been expanding its extravagant showrooms in the United States. The refurbishment embodies a blend of the brand's historical design elements and elements of 20th-century French decorative art, featuring luxurious materials such as marble, blue stones, coral, and gold. The design, led by Rafael de Cárdenas, emphasizes Piaget's unique identity, balancing sophistication with creativity. The two-storey showroom is connected by an asymmetrical staircase and includes several intimate spaces, allowing clients to explore the world of Piaget in a custom-designed environment. This new space aims to reflect the brand's precise craftsmanship and innovative spirit, enhancing the overall customer experience.
