Rado Introduces Three Summer-Colored DiaStar Original Skeleton Watches
Rado has introduced three new limited‑edition versions of its DiaStar Original Skeleton watch, adding vibrant summer‑inspired colourways to the iconic oval‑shaped timepiece. Each model shares the same 38 mm × 45 mm × 11.9 mm case dimensions, a convex Ceramos bezel, faceted sapphire crystal, and sapphire caseback, while featuring distinct blue, green, or red dials paired with matching rubber straps. The blue and red editions use a polished Ceramos bezel with stainless‑steel cases, whereas the green version incorporates a yellow‑gold‑coloured PVD‑coated bezel and steel components, all retaining the floating index design and moving anchor logo. All three watches are powered by the automatic R808 calibre, offering 25 jewels, a Nivachron hairspring, a 21,600 vph frequency and an 80‑hour power reserve, housed within a skeletonised movement visible through the sapphire back. Production is limited to 555 pieces per colour, with the blue and red models priced at €2,500 each and the green edition at €2,750, emphasizing Rado’s blend of futuristic materials, vivid aesthetics, and classic design heritage.
