Ressence Launches the Type 11 with Its First In-House Movement
Ressence has introduced the Type 11, marking a significant milestone with the launch of its first proprietary movement, the Werk RW-01. This innovative watch features Ressence's unique Orbital Convex System (ROCS), which allows time to be displayed through rotating sub-dials, creating a dynamic visual experience. The new movement integrates the ROCS within a triangular architecture, enhancing energy efficiency with a robust 60-hour power reserve. Notable improvements include a simplified winding mechanism and a patented power reserve indicator, enriching the functionality of the watch. The Type 11 showcases Ressence's signature design with a polished titanium case, available in three elegant dial colors: Pine, Sky, and Latte. The watch maintains its fluid silhouette without a protruding crown, and the convex dial rotates gracefully. It can be paired with various straps, including leather, rubber, and a titanium Milanese mesh bracelet. Set to be available in May 2026 at a retail price of CHF 23,000, the Type 11 promises to combine aesthetic appeal with advanced horological technology, appealing to both enthusiasts and collectors alike.
