Rolex CEO set to speak at Dubai Watch Week
Rolex CEO Jean-Frédéric Dufour is set to speak at Dubai Watch Week, which promises to be a significant gathering of watch industry leaders outside Switzerland. The event will allow attendees to engage in discussions with prominent figures such as Audemars Piguet's Ilaria Resta and Hublot's Julien Tornare. Dufour's session, titled "The Time to Act is Now — A Note to the Watch Industry," will be moderated by Abdul Hamied Seddiqi, chairman of Seddiqi Holding, emphasizing the importance of mechanical watches in a rapidly changing world. Scheduled for November 19 to 23 at Burj Park near the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Watch Week will showcase new products from 90 brands, including both established names and emerging micro-brands. With free public access, the event aims to celebrate its 10th anniversary while establishing Dubai as a global hub for the watch industry.
