Rolex GMT Master II Pepsi Discontinued
Rolex has officially confirmed the discontinuation of the GMT Master II with the iconic red and blue Pepsi bezel, notifying authorized dealers that no further deliveries will be made. Customers on waiting lists are being informed to explore alternative models, marking the end of a prolonged period of speculation regarding production challenges, particularly related to the watch's ceramic bezels. As a result, the secondary market prices for the Pepsi model have surged, rising from £24,000 at the beginning of 2026 to £25,100, while the recommended retail price remains significantly lower at £9,850. Speculation around the Pepsi's discontinuation intensified earlier in February when the reference 126710BLRO disappeared from several authorized dealer websites in the United States. Additionally, prices for the alternative black and blue Batgirl model have also increased, now sitting just below £20,000, which is more than double its retail price. This situation illustrates a growing demand for certain models amid ongoing production issues within Rolex's esteemed GMT collection.
